Children and Young people are encouraged to take charge of their lives . We can do this by addressing our situation and then take action in order to improve our access to resources and transform our consciousness through our beliefs, values, and attitudes.

Youth empowerment aims to improve quality of life. However scholars argue that children’s right implementation should go beyond learning about formal rights and procedures to give birth to a concrete experience of rights. These programs can be through non-profit organizations.Youth empowerment is often addressed and democracy building. Activities may focus on youth-led media ,youth rights, youth council, youth activism, youth involvement in community decision -making.

Empowerment theory suggest that engaging youth in pro-social, meaningful,and community-enhancing activities that the youth themselves define and control, helps youth gain vital skills responsibilities, and confidence necessary to become productive and healthy adults . The youth empowerment programs are aimed at creating healthier and higher qualities of life for underprivileged or at-risk youth.

To truly empower youth, our society has to be very intentional about the way youth are incorporated into communities and organization.

As a young adults we have to had a positive impact through our work with YES! (Youth Empowerment Solution).We also provide extensive training to our peers on how to implement sustainable solution based on the needs they identify in their own communities.

It’s clear that providing youth with the tools for empowerment through these programs can yield effective, real world change because young people have the ideas, the creativity and great energy to shape a better world.

As a student, my experience in using ICT is nice because it help me gain a lot of knowledge, especially this pandemic because ICT help a lot in my studies. We all know that this pandemic they set a new normal in a lot of things and one of this is our new normal type of schooling, and the new type of schooling is through online class and modular learning and this two required to use ICT especially in online class and for the modular learning like me, we use ICT when there is something or topic in our module that we don’t understand, we search it on our computer or phone for us to understand that topic . Also we did use ICT in our Filipino subject in doing our presentation for Filipino culture and doing it we need to use ICT to finish and edit every detail for our performance Task, and because we can’t meet to finish this, we just finish it through doing our own part and filming our self using our phone then pass the video to our editor for her to edit and finalize all for our performance Task to finish then she use her computer to pass it to our teacher through email . I can say that ICT play a big role in this pandemic , specially to us student.
